V/H/S: Viral Blu-ray/DVD to include Todd Lincoln’s Gorgeous Vortex

By now many of you have gotten around to checking out V/H/S: VIRAL on VOD (check that shite out HERE!), but for those that have been holding off for the Blu-ray or DVD, we now have word on when you can expect to finally peep the third entry in the successful V/H/S series.

Fangoria is reporting that Magnolia Home Entertainment will be releasing V/H/S: VIRAL to Blu-ray and DVD on February 17, 2015, and these editions will include Todd Lincoln's "Gorgeous Vortex" segment. We've got all the deets, including the specs and cover art, for ya to peep below.

With a framing segment depicting a literal chase for viral video directed by DEADGIRL’s Marcel Sarmiento, the movie also includes “Dante the Great,” about a magician with a deadly secret, by DANCE OF THE DEAD’s Gregg Bishop; “Parallel Monsters,” in which a scientist opens a portal to a bizarre alternate dimension in his basement, from Nacho Vigalondo of TIMECRIMES and OPEN WINDOWS; and “Bonestorm”, centering on skateboarders terrorized by skeletal cultists in Tijuana, helmed by the RESOLUTION and SPRING trio of Justin Benson and Aaron Moorhead.

A fourth story, “Gorgeous Vortex” by Todd Lincoln, wasn't part of the film for festival and theatrical play but will appear on the discs as a bonus feature. That story is said to concern…

"a sinister, shadowy organization that is tracking a serial killer"
