New Venom 2 posters tease the clash in Let There Be Carnage

Sony Pictures has unleashed two new posters for Venom: Let There Be Carnage that tease the symbiote slaughter to come. The first of the new Venom 2 posters merges Venom (Tom Hardy) and Carnage (Woody Harrelson) for a combination that is as deadly as it is terrifying. The second poster features both characters locked in a battle that is bound to leave both characters bloody and on the verge of death. If you look closely, you can see that Carnage has transformed portions of his symbiotic nature into dagger-like weapons.

Venom: Let There Be Carnage is directed by Andy Serkis (taking over for Ruben Fleischer from the first) from a screenplay written by Kelly Marcel, based on a story by Marcel and Tom Hardy. The movie sees Eddie Brock (Tom Hardy) returning to the big screen as the lethal protector Venom, one of Marvel’s greatest and most complex characters. In the sequel, Venom will face off against several villains, including Carnage, Shriek (Naomie Harris), and Toxin (Stephen Graham).

A battle between Venom and Carnage is something that comic book fans have been waiting a lifetime to see play out in live-action on the silver screen. Both characters are as legendary as the film’s director, and there’s no telling the amount of mayhem that’s about to go down.

Venom: Let There Be Carnage stars a returning Tom Hardy as Eddie Brock / Venom, with Woody Harrelson as Cletus Kasady / Carnage, Michelle Williams as Anne Weying, Reid Scott as Weying’s boyfriend, Dan Lewis, Naomie Harris as Shriek, and Stephen Graham as Patrick Mulligan.

Are you all excited for the sequel to (hopefully) hit theaters in October? You can check out both of the new posters for Venom: Let There Be Carnage below. Each one features the film’s new release date of October 15, 2021, and you can watch the trailer here!
