Vans x Horror shoes, clothing line now available! F13, Elm Street, & more

Last Updated on October 4, 2021

Last week, Vans – the manufacturer of skateboarding shoes and related apparel – took to social media to tease the fact that they would be releasing a collection called Vans x Horror, featuring shoes that “bring to life your favorite iconic horror films”. The video they posted gave a glimpse of shoes inspired by the Friday the 13th franchise, Stephen King’s It, A Nightmare on Elm Street, and Stanley Kubrick’s adaptation of the Stephen King novel The Shining… but they didn’t say when these items would be available. Well, now that it’s October, the month of Halloween, the Vans x Horror collection is now available for purchase!

In addition to the shoes we saw last week, this collection also includes shirts, hoodies, backpacks, hats, something they call a body pack but that’s a fanny pack where I come from. You could build a whole new wardrobe out of Vans X Horror merchandise. And if you want to do so, just click on THIS LINK and head over to the Vans website.

There are even a couple classic horror movies represented in the collection that weren’t part of the initial video tease. On the Vans website you’ll find shoes inspired by The Exorcist and The Lost Boys, plus an Exorcist shirt and a Lost Boys hoodie.

Previews of some of the items in the collection can be seen below. There are some very cool things in the Vans x Horror collection, but also some underwhelming things (that Lost Boys hoodie) and a couple items that the average person would probably never guess have anything to do with a specific horror movie (the Friday the 13th slide-ons and It backpack, for example). But it looks good overall.

Will you be buying any of these items? Let us know what you think of the Vans x Horror collection by leaving a comment below.
