Van Damme in an action-revenge flick called SIX BULLETS? Christmas in June!
Variety is reporting the Muscles from Brussels has just inked a deal to star in SIX BULLETS, which comes from director Ernie Barbarash (THEY WAIT, HARDWIRED). Chad and Evan Law (THE HIT LIST, THE IRISHMAN) wrote the script.
Van Damme will play an ex-mercenary kidnapping expert hired by a martial arts fighter whose daughter has gone missing.

Barbarash and Van Damme have worked together before, on the yet to be released actioner ASSASSINATION GAMES (aka WEAPON). Sony Pictures Worldwide Acquisitions landed rights to that flick, the rights to SIX BULLETS have yet to be targeted.
As you may know, JCVD is currently filming UNIVERSAL SOLDIER: NEW DIMENSION with Dolph Lundgren. With that flick coming down the pike and knowing Van Damme is ready to stuff SIX BULLETS in the chamber…I’m pretty damn stoked for the future of the middle-aged action hero.
