The INTERNATIONAL TRAILER has been added!
The war between vampires and werewolves that was established in the 2003 film UNDERWORLD and continued on through two sequels and a prequel will continue in a fifth film, UNDERWORLD: BLOOD WARS, which is scheduled to reach theatres on January 6, 2017.
That means we're one day shy of four months out from the film's release, so this seems like a good time to share the trailer that has made its way online. It starts off with footage from the previous four movies, but eventually segues into the new stuff.
No official synopsis has been revealed for the screenplay, which was written by PRIEST / THE LAST WITCH HUNTER scribe Cory Goodman, but judging by the trailer it's exactly what you would expect from a new UNDERWORLD movie.
Anna Foerster, who directed second unit on such films as THE DAY AFTER TOMORROW and 10,000 B.C. before serving as cinematographer on WHITE HOUSE DOWN, has made her feature directorial debut with UNDERWORLD: BLOOD WARS.
