Unsolved Mysteries volume 3 is coming to Netflix in three parts this fall

Last September, it was announced that the Netflix streaming service had ordered a third volume of their Unsolved Mysteries reboot, with the initial plan being for the new episodes to be released sometime in summer 2022. Well, those episodes are going to be a little later than expected, but most of them will be available to watch in time to add some chills to your Halloween season this year. Netflix has revealed that they will be releasing the episodes of Unsolved Mysteries volume 3 in three installments, with the release dates being October 18, October 25, and November 1. Each of those dates is a Tuesday.

Since the previous two volumes of this Unsolved Mysteries both consisted of six episodes, I’m assuming that volume 3 does as well – and if that’s the case, we’ll probably be getting two episodes each week.

A collaboration between the original show’s production company Cosgrove-Meurer Productions and 21 Laps Entertainment, the production company that brings us Stranger Things, the new Unsolved Mysteries

uses re-enactments in a documentary format to profile real-life mysteries and unsolved crimes, lost love, cases involving missing persons and unexplained paranormal events.

Netflix provided the following logline for Unsolved Mysteries volume 3:

The iconic and gripping series returns with a three-week event featuring more unexplained deaths, baffling disappearances and bizarre paranormal activity. Unsolved Mysteries Volume 3 is from the creators of the original docuseries, Cosgrove/Meurer Productions, and 21 Laps Entertainment, the producers of Stranger Things.

I have watched all twelve episodes of the Netflix version of Unsolved Mysteries to date, and it’s guaranteed that I’ll be watching the third volume of episodes as well.
