Unseen footage and interviews abound in new Man of Steel featurette

This morning I woke up and checked my phone and saw a reminder to go buy advance tickets to MAN OF STEEL at Wal-Mart. That’s right, I am a committed geek. When I arrived at the store I expected that I’d be lucky to snag a few tickets for the IMAX 3D showing, but it turned out there were plenty left. One of the perks of living in the boonies, I suppose. After purchasing my tickets I went to browse the blu-rays and suddenly saw what I thought was the MAN OF STEEL trailer playing on the HD TV wall. Upon closer inspection it turned out to be none other than a new featurette for the film, made for release on the day the tickets went on sale. It was a solid bonus.

The featurette has interviews with cast and crew, including Zack Snyder, Henry Cavill, Amy Adams, Kevin Costner, Russell Crowe, Michael Shannon, and producer Charles Roven, each highlighting the greatness that’s in store when this bad boy debuts. There’s a nice smattering of new footage and music cues, more than enough to get you just that much more pumped (Check out the earlier released featurettes here).
