Like many of you guys out there, one of my favorite-ish action flicks from the '90s is INDEPENDENCE DAY and GODZILLA director Roland Emmerich and co-writer Dean Devlin's UNIVERSAL SOLDIER starring Jean-Claude Van Damme and Dolph Lundgren. And today we've learned that the film will be released on 4K Ultra HD via Lionsgate next month.

The film centers on:
Luc Devreaux (Jean-Claude Van Damme) and Sgt. Andrew Scott (Dolph Lundgren) are two soldiers who kill each other in Vietnam and are brought back to life 25 years later for a secret government program.
Roland Emmerich (INDEPENDENCE DAY) directed UNIVERSAL SOLDIER from a screenplay written by Richard Rothstein, Christopher Leitch, and Dean Devlin. Allen Shapiro produced along with Craig Baumgarten and Joel B. Michaels. It stars Jean-Claude Van Damme, Dolph Lundgren, Ally Walker, Ed O'Ross, and Jerry Orbach. TriStar Pictures unleashed it into theaters back on July 10, 1992. It hits 4K Ultra HD on November 5, 2019.
