BACK TO THE FUTURE nostalgia is all over the place today. One would have thought the Pepsi Perfect announcement was enough to satisfy us fans for one day… but, if that was your thinking, you're just flat-out wrong. Universal Pictures has gone one step further in celebrating BACK TO THE FUTURE fandom in the name of the 30th anniversary this year. Given that it's 2015 and there's a race to make all those things from BACK TO THE FUTURE PART II we believed we'd have by now into real things, it should come as no surprise that Universal has cut a trailer for JAWS 19.
The blockbuster sequel from Max Spielberg that I imagine plays incredibly in Holomax is supposed to be a really really personal tale of man versus shark, and, while the studio was never able to get things going again for the franchise after JAWS: THE REVENGE, this new peek at what JAWS 19 could have been lays out a series that I know I would have wanted to see, if for no other reason than its sheer ridiculousness.
The Asylum churns out movies at an unbelievable pace. It isn't that far-fetched to make JAWS 19 an actual movie before 2015 is out… But someone really needs to get moving.
