SOUTHLAND TALES is an extremely important movie. Not in the sense that it’s going to define Richard Kelly’s career (it’s not, he’s going to be riding DONNIE DARKO for the rest of his life), nor does it have some powerful message that is going to rouse millions to rebel. No, this movie is so important because it is proof that there is no such thing as bad publicity. I’m still to read a single overwhelmingly positive review, but I’m not alone in desperately wanting to see this thing. Even if you guys don’t want to admit it! Empire has the latest UK one sheet, which is unsurprisingly poor, further proving what I mentioned earlier, because it hasn’t put a damper on my wanting to see it!
