Two new teasers for Anchorman: The Legend Continues put hot breath in your ear

The sequel to ANCHORMAN: THE LEGEND CONTINUES released its first teaser trailer last week in front of THE DICTATOR and now you can catch all the magic here in not one, but TWO versions of the teaser.  It’s the standard improv comedy style from the first film and is obviously meant to be more of a teaser FOR the film, rather than a teaser OF the film.  Confusing, yes, but the real message here is that the gang is back and you can choose to be excited…or not.

Set sail on the Diversity:

I don’t think these teasers are exceptional, but the truth is, I didn’t think the first ANCHORMAN was exceptional on the first watch either.  In fact, I felt it was a massive disappointment.  Then, I watched it again and it was like comedy morphine being injected into my veins.  Not only could I not stop laughing, but I couldn’t stop quoting the movie.  I was a non-stop Ron Burgundy quoting machine.  It eventually cost me my job, but I think that had more to do with bringing a hand grenade to work than the suit, moustache, and shiny shoes.

I predict that ANCHORMAN: THE LEGEND CONTINUES will be a blast, given that everyone’s back and they all seem to be genuinely enthused to be doing the film.  It could always go the other way, but I’m putting my money on a win.
