Three new Riddick images courtesy of Vin Diesel

Vin Diesel took to his Facebook page earlier today and posted three new images from the upcoming RIDDICK.  The first image shows the mouth of some sort of alien creature.

Diesel included the following caption for the image.  “Too focused on the captive, the bounty… Haha… And when they realize what is out there in the dark… it’s too late.”

The second and third images are of Diesel himself (the caption reads “These Furyan eyes have seen so much, and yet so much remains unanswered…”) and costar Katee Sackhoff (“Not all Mercs are spineless… in fact some are downright sexy…GRRRR…”)

Diesel also notes that Sackhoff completed her portion of filiming “the new Chronicles of Riddick.”  Is there a title change coming?

Synopsis: In the film, written and directed by David Twohy, the infamous Riddick has been left for dead on a sun-scorched planet that appears to be lifeless. Soon, however, he finds himself fighting for survival against alien predators more lethal than any human he’s encountered. The only way off is for Riddick to activate an emergency beacon and alert mercenaries who rapidly descend to the planet in search of their bounty. The first ship to arrive carries a new breed of merc, more lethal and violent, while the second is captained by a man whose pursuit of Riddick is more personal. With time running out and a storm on the horizon that no one could survive, his hunters won’t leave the planet without Riddick’s head as their trophy.

Check out the other two images below.  RIDDICK is set for a 2013 release.
