Two new clips from Wrath of the Titans amp up the badassness!

Let me just get this out of the way early. I f**king hated CLASH OF THE TITANS. It was boring and the 3D was awful beyond compare. With a cast as good as it had, there was no way it should have sucked. But suck it certainly did.

Fast-forward two years later and we are about to have WRATH OF THE TITANS unleashed upon us. Same cast (minus Gemma Arterton) but a new director could have resulted in more of the same. So far, looks like I am going to be proved wrong.

Director Jonathan Liebesman is bringing his eye for action to a franchise that could use it. By keeping the great movie stars in place and not having to start over from scratch, he is able to skip the introductions and get right to the massive setpieces that this genre was designed for.

Two new clips from WRATH OF THE TITANS have made their way online and they both give me hope for the film. The first features Zeus (Liam Neeson) confronting Hades (Ralph Fiennes) only to have his butt kicked all over the underworld. The second clip features Perseus (Sam Worthington) and Poseidon (Danny Huston) discussing how to save Zeus.

Okay, now I am getting excited for this one.

WRATH OF THE TITANS opens March 30th, 2012.
