Two more teasers released for Blumhouse’s Halloween trailer

The trailer for Blumhouse's HALLOWEEN sequel will arrive online tomorrow, but while we wait for that two more teasers for the trailer have shown up – and these are much more interesting than the "close-up of Michael Myers' mask" teaser we saw yesterday.

In one we get shots of what appears to be the home of Laurie Strode, who has spent the last forty years preparing for the return of that masked maniac Myers, and even has her own shooting range set up on her property. Making this short clip even better is the fact that the imagery is accompanied by the sound of Laurie (played once again by Jamie Lee Curtis) singing a song we first heard her sing back in John Carpenter's 1978 classic HALLOWEEN.

The other tease offers a glimpse at about 9 seconds of quick-cut moments from the film, including Laurie and Michael's long-awaited rematch.

This new sequel is only acknowledging the events of the first HALLOWEEN. This time around

Laurie Strode comes to her final confrontation with Michael Myers, the masked figure who has haunted her since she narrowly escaped his killing spree on Halloween night four decades ago.

David Gordon Green directed the film from a screenplay he wrote with Danny McBride and Jeff Fradley. John Carpenter serves as executive producer and is composing the score.

Co-starring with Curtis are Judy Greer as Laurie's daughter Karen; Andi Matichak as Karen's daughter Allyson; Miles Robbins, Virginia Gardner, Dylan Arnold, and Drew Scheid as Allyson's Haddonfield High classmates; Will Patton and Rob Niter as police officers; Rhian Rees as a character named Dana; and Diva Tyler as a caretaker, with stuntman James Jude Courtney and original Michael Myers performer Nick Castle sharing the role of the slasher.

Blumhouse's HALLOWEEN is set for a theatrical release on October 19th.
