TWD’s Norman Reedus turning comic Undone by Blood into a TV series for AMC!

According to Deadline, star Norman Reedus – of THE WALKING DEAD fame – has just signed a two-year first-look development deal with AMC, and one of his first projects he's developing is a TV adaptation of the comic book UNDONE BY BLOOD, written by Zac Thompson and Lonnie Nadler.

Here's the official synopsis:

In the early 1970s, Ethel Grady Lane returns to her hometown of Sweetheart, Arizona with one thing on her mind: killing the man who murdered her family. But first, she’ll have to find him. As Ethel navigates the eccentric town and its inhabitants, she learns that the quaint veneer hides a brewing darkness. She has no choice but to descend into a ring of depravity and violence, with her only ally an Old West novel that follows famed gunslinger Solomon Eaton. As both stories unfold simultaneously, a love of fiction informs choices in reality, for better or worse.

And here's what Reedus had to say about the upcoming project:

It has been a dream of mine for so long to be able to share and tell progressive stories that shine a light where others don’t…I feel incredibly privileged for the opportunity to amplify innovative voices in storytelling that are visionary in fostering change in culture

No official start or release date for the series as of this time, but we'll keep you updated! You can next see Reedus in THE WALKING DEAD spin-off based on his character Daryl Dixon – alongside Melissa McBride's Carol Peletier – which also doesn't have an official start/release date.

So what do you guys think? Fans of the comic? If so, how do you feel about Reedus developing the TV adaptation? Either way, sound off below!
