After seventeen years, Ewan MacGregor’s return to the role of Obi-Wan Kenobi is finally here. Set between Revenge of the Sith and A New Hope, the Disney+ series Obi-Wan Kenobi finds the Jedi master on Tatooine protecting Luke Skywalker from a distance. But, when a group of Inquisitors dispatched by Darth Vader comes looking for him, Obi-Wan must go on another adventure. The six-episode series looks like a welcome return to a galaxy far, far away and introduces lots of elements to the franchise we have never seen in live-action before.
Leading up to the release of Obi-Wan Kenobi, I got the chance to talk with actress Moses Ingram who plays Inquisitor Reva. Ingram has had a crazy couple of years, acting in Netflix hit The Queen’s Gambit and Joel Coen’s acclaimed The Tragedy of Macbeth. Joining the world of Star Wars was a crazy one for her and we discussed just how much involvement she had in creating Reva as well as joining such a lauded franchise.
