True Blood’s James Frain to visit Fox’s Sleepy Hollow; Have we seen the last of John Cho’s Andy?

I was happy to hear how well Fox's "Sleepy Hollow" did in the ratings as I found it to be a lot of fun and easily the best genre offering of the week (sorry CBS, but that "Under the Dome" finale was friggin' terrible!). I'm looking forward to visiting "Sleepy Hollow" many more times in the future and today we have a bit of casting news for you to lose your head over.

TVLine has learned that "True Blood's" James Frain, one of TV’s go-to guys for playing off-putting, imperious individuals, will guest-star on multiple episodes of Fox’s freshman hit as 'Rutledge, a modern-day nobleman who will interrogate Ichabod, who is being passed off as a “visiting Oxford professor,” about his past. What’s more, Rutledge harbors a secret that could affect Ichabod’s future'.

That that's some cool casting! Always happy to see Frain doing his thing and no one plays a smarmy a'hole quite like he does!

Now let's head into some spoilerish territory for a moment. If you didn't have a chance to check out Monday nights premiere, STOP READING NOW.

One actor I was stoked to see in "Sleepy Hollow" was Mr. Sulu himself, John Cho. Oh, ok…ok..he's Harold from the HAROLD AND KUMAR flicks, too, ya stoners! Anyways, if you were disappointed that Cho’s appearance boiled down to a few short scenes and a quick, brutal death, don’t fret as TVLine’s Michael Ausiello has some inside knowledge that might smooth you over. Ausiello shares…

“Though he very much died in the premiere, we have by no means seen the last of John Cho’s Andy.”

In a town populated by witches, headless horsemen and other demonic forces, I guess we shouldn't be too surprised that characters won't stay dead. I'm down!

"Sleepy Hollow" is from K/O Paper Products in association with 20th Century Fox Television. The series is co-created by Alex Kurtzman, Roberto Orci, Phillip Iscove, and Len Wiseman. The series is executive-produced by Kurtzman, Orci, Wiseman, and Heather Kadin. "Sleepy Hollow" airs on Mondays at 9/8c on Fox.
