As marketing fatigue sets in for STAR TREK INTO DARKNESS, I find myself avoiding a lot of the stuff floating around out there, so as to still have at least something to look forward to. Until, last week when I got trapped in a spoiler tractor beam that sucked me into its imperial spoilership and ruined the whole thing for me. These things happen. I won't do that to you here, but merely share the latest and greatest from the Trek-o-sphere, including the new IMAX poster by artist Mark Englert (which you can get for free at the first midnight showing), a tense dialogue clip between Chris Pine's Kirk and Benedict Cumberbatch's John Harrison, and a new action-y TV spot with a peek into that whole scene of Alice Eve in her bra and panties.

Here's the synopsis:
In the wake of a shocking act of terror from within their own organization, the crew of The Enterprise is called back home to Earth. In defiance of regulations and with a personal score to settle, Captain Kirk leads his crew on a manhunt to capture an unstoppable force of destruction and bring those responsible to justice. As our heroes are propelled into an epic chess game of life and death, love will be challenged, friendships will be torn apart, and sacrifices must be made for the only family Kirk has left: his crew.
STAR TREK INTO DARKNESS, directed by J.J. Abrams, hits warp speed on May 15, 2013 in IMAX, and everywhere else on May 17. 2013.
