Transform and roll out to watch five new clips from Bumblebee

Although I was feeling optimistic that BUMBLEBEE would serve as an improvement over the Michael Bay movies, I never expected that critics would love it as much as they have. The Travis Knight film is currently sitting at 94% on Rotten Tomatoes, which is a hell of a lot higher than any of the other TRANSFORMERS movies. BUMBLEBEE will be hitting theaters in just a couple of days and Paramount have released a handful of new clips for your viewing pleasure. Check 'em out!

Our own Chris Bumbray was among those who quite enjoyed BUMBLEBEE, a minor miracle considering that he hasn't liked any of Michael Bay's TRANSFORMERS movies, and praised star Hailee Steinfeld in particular, saying that the "role seems tailor made for her, and she’s by far the least obtrusive, most likable human character we’ve ever had in a Transformers movie" in his review.

The official synopsis for BUMBLEBEE:

On the run in the year 1987, Bumblebee finds refuge in a junkyard in a small Californian beach town. Charlie (Hailee Steinfeld), on the cusp of turning 18 and trying to find her place in the world, discovers Bumblebee, battle-scarred and broken. When Charlie revives him, she quickly learns this is no ordinary, yellow VW bug.

BUMBLEBEE will hit theaters on December 21st.
