We have previously reported that director Yeon Sang-ho's TRAIN TO BUSAN (you can watch TRAIN TO BUSAN at THIS LINK) follow-up TRAIN TO BUSAN PRESENTS: PENINSULA will be getting a 4K UHD, Blu-ray, and DVD release on November 24th (copies can be pre-ordered HERE), and now comes the good news that will be available on Digital a month before that.
Arriving just in time for Halloween viewings, TRAIN TO BUSAN PRESENTS: PENINSULA is getting its Digital release, courtesy of Well Go USA Entertainment, on October 27th.
Starring Gang Dong-Won, Lee Jung-Hyun, Lee Re, Kwon Hae-Hyo, Kim Min-Jae, Go Kyo-Hwan, Kim Do-Yoon, and Lee Ye-Won, the film has the following synopsis:
Four years after South Korea’s total decimation in Train to Busan, Jung-seok (Gang Dong-won), a soldier who previously escaped the diseased wasteland, relives the horror when assigned to a covert operation with two simple objectives: retrieve and survive. When his team unexpectedly stumbles upon survivors, their lives will depend on whether the best — or worst — of human nature prevails in the direst of circumstances.
I'm going to try to get in a viewing of PENINSULA by Halloween, if not on Halloween. If you're in no hurry to see the film, it will also be available to watch on the Shudder streaming service sometime in 2021.
