METAL HURLANT CHRONICLES is a French adaptation of the original comics anthology series (which was repackaged and continued as Heavy Metal in the U.S.), featuring a nice line-up of B-movie stars including Scott Adkins, Michael Jai White, Rutger Hauer, Joe Flanigan, James Marsters, and Kelly Brook. I’ll say it again: Kelly Brook. The adaptation is set to be 24 half-hour episodes, stretched out between two seasons. The show will make its debut in France, eventually trickling out to the other corners of the globe.
It looks like a cool show with a mix of all the action/sci-fi elements from the comics, including boobs, blood, swords, yelling in slow motion, sitting on thrones, and spacecraft. Also, Kelly Brook.
