Trailer unleashed for killer stuffed animal movie Benny Loves You!

I remember being a kid and scared of the dark, only going to sleep when I imagined my Batman action figures protecting me (I wasn't a smart kid). So I can definitely relate to the premise of the upcoming horror-comedy BENNY LOVES YOU, about a loving toy that gets scorned by the kid it was sworn to protect and love, and goes psychotic when it's scorned and rejected. Here's the official synopsis:

After the accidental death of his parents, Jack must sell his family home and start a new life. Cleaning out the house, Jack trashes his family belongings including his beloved childhood stuffed animal, Benny. It’s a move that turns deadly as Benny springs to life with one goal in mind, protect Jack at all cost!

Looks fun! I happen to love adult puppet movies (MEET THE FEEBLES especially), so seeing a psychotic pseudo-MUPPET killing people bloodily is right up my alley! Hopefully the film lives up to the trailer.

Meanwhile, BENNY LOVES YOU – directed by Karl Holt and starring Karl Holt, Claire Cartwright, and George Collie – has no official release day, but Raven Banner is handling sales on the film at the ongoing Cannes Virtual market.
