Ted Levine and Samantha Isler star in director Hunter Adams' DIG TWO GRAVES, a supernatural thriller that will be receiving a theatrical and On Demand release on March 24th. A trailer for the film has arrived online a month out from its release, and while DIG TWO GRAVES wasn't on my radar before, it definitely is after watching the trailer, which can be seen below.
The story of a young girl who goes on "a nightmarish journey" and is faced with "a deadly proposition", the film has the following synopsis:
A supernatural thriller about the generational violence that plagues a small, backwoods town, set in the 1970s, Dig Two Graves asks “how far would you go to save those you love?” After 13-year-old Jacqueline Mather (Isler) loses her brother in a mysterious drowning accident, she is soon visited by three moonshiners who offer to bring her brother back to life but at a grim cost. As the dark history of her grandfather, Sheriff Waterhouse (Levine) is unearthed the true intentions of the moonshiners come to light.
Danny Goldring, Troy Ruptash, and Rachael Drummond co-star.
DIG TWO GRAVES looks very interesting to me, and I get a SOMETHING WICKED THIS WAY COMES vibe from some of the things on display in the trailer. Child lead, talk of magic, dude in a top hat… Being reminiscent of SOMETHING WICKED THIS WAY COMES is a very good thing in my book, so I'm looking forward to checking out DIG TWO GRAVES next month.
