I'll take all the Paul Rudd I can get, and no innuendo is neccessary as the Lionsgate comedy THEY CAME TOGETHER brings enough to the table as is. The latest from writer/director David Wain (ROLE MODELS, WET HOT AMERICAN SUMMER) stars the ridiculously charismatic Rudd alongside Amy Poehler in what looks to be a great ensemble cast (and as far as I'm concerned, The League's Raffi can be added to every film/TV show/audiobook from here until the end of time).
The synopsis is as follows:
When Joel and Molly meet, it's hate at first sight: his big Corporate Candy Company threatens to shut down her quirky indie candy shop. Plus, Joel is hung up on his sexy ex.
We reviewed the flick earlier this year at the Sundance Film Fesitval (you can check that out here) but fortunately audiences won't have to wait too long as it will hit theaters and on demand in three short months, on June 27th.
The cast looks like they're having a whole lot of fun, and I'm willing to bet that'll translate well to the audience. Check out the trailer below and I DARE you to not want to leave your day job to go on an extended visit to wine country with Paul Rudd in tow.
THEY CAME TOGETHER hits theaters and on VOD June 27th, 2014.
