Mark Neveldine’s THE VATICAN TAPES now has a trailer, one that features all the exorcism tropes we've come to love and hate—a tied up girl, a twisted body, levitation, some puking for good measure and a priest that just wont give up; it's all there, folks. That isn't necessarily a bad thing, though, because sometimes a familiar setup is all the horror genre needs. The trailer plays like a very by-the-numbers exorcism flick, so hopefully there's more to it than what we see here. Dig it below!
The Synopsis:
A young woman becomes the spiritual conduit for the forces of darkness, responsible for unleashing unchecked evil in the world.
Michael Pena, Djimon Hounsou, Dougray Scott, Peter Andersson, Olivia Dudley, and Cas Anvar star. Lakeshore’s Tom Rosenberg and Gary Lucchesi are producing the film alongside Chris Cowles.
