Last week we landed a batch of exclusive stills from DEAD STILL, an original Syfy thriller joining the network’s annual "31 Days of Halloween” lineup airing on October 6th at 9 PM/EST. Not surprisingly, the trailer hits all the familiar Syfy movie notes: It looks goofy as hell, oddly entertaining and sort of awesome in that C-movie kind of way. DEAD STILL comes to us from the talented directing tandem The Booth Brothers, Christopher Saint Booth and Philip Adrian Booth. Some of their films include, DEATH TUNNEL, THE EXORCIST FILE, THE POSSESSED, and CHILDREN OF THE GRAVE as seen on Syfy.

The synopsis:

Wedding photographer Brandon Davis (Ben Browder/SG-1, Farscape) inherits an antique camera famous for taking Victorian death photography. When he uses it, the subjects die, then reappear as eerie death portraits, leading Davis into a terrifying journey to uncover the haunting mystery behind the cursed camera.
