We recently brought you the upcoming SXSW Film Festival Midnighters lineup, which includes films that are certain to be some of the most talked about genre offerings of the year. Among that list was Mickey Keating's POD, which concerns a family intervention that goes horrifically awry within the snowy confines of an isolated lake house. After receiving a cryptic message from their war veteran brother, Martin, estranged siblings Ed and Lyla travel up to their isolated family lake house to hold an intervention. But the terror that they encounter within the snowy confines of the ransacked retreat is far beyond anything that they could have possibly anticipated.
POD will be having its premiere at the SXSW Film Festival (March 13-21, 2015 in Austin, Texas) in the Midnighters lineup. I'm curious to hear how this one plays for the audience. Check out the trailer below.
