On tap for you this morning we have the trailer for Matthieu Ratthe's upcoming horror film THE GRACEFIELD INCIDENT, which looks like it could be one creepy little flick despite sitting firmly within that tired subgenre that so many fans of the genre are sick of: found footage. But before you write this one off you really should check out this trailer as it looks like it may deliver where so many other films of its ilk have failed. Especially that last shot…it's creepy good!
The titular incident involves a meteorite strike/UFO crash leading to some creeped-out shenanigans in the woods. Ratthe also stars, in that his is the mostly-offscreen character doing the filming. Also interesting to note is that the film was executive produced by Bryan Turner (founder of Priority Records), Pat Brisson (head of hockey at CAA) and Sergei Federov (future NHL Hall of Famer).
We don't know much in terms of a synopsis other than what we have below, but the trailer does a solid job of selling the pic.
On August 16, 2013, the Supreme Court mandated the CIA to declassify files that had been kept secret for the past 75 years.
Visual records of documented paranormal events were released to the public.
The following incident took place in Gracefield, Quebec.
Hopefully we'll hear more from THE GRACEFIELD INCIDENT soon.
