After dominating cinemas and theme parks across the globe, the dinosaurs of Universal's Jurassic World franchise are gearing up to give Netflix subscribers the fright of their lives when JURASSIC WORLD: CAMP CRETACEOUS stomps onto the scene this September 18. The streamer unleashed a brand-new trailer for the series on Wednesday, featuring lots of your favorite dinosaurs as well as plenty of action from the upcoming animated series.
Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous follows a group of six teenagers chosen for a once-in-a-lifetime experience at a new adventure camp on the opposite side of Isla Nublar. But when dinosaurs wreak havoc across the island, the campers are stranded. Unable to reach the outside world, they’ll need to go from strangers to friends, and ultimately, a family, if they’re going to survive.

The eight-episode animated adventure hails from Universal Pictures, DreamWorks Animation, and Amblin Entertainment, and is based on the multibillion-dollar film franchise. Starring in the series is Paul-Mikél Williams as our resident dino expert Darius. Meanwhile, Jenna Ortega plays social media stand-out Brooklynn, with Ryan Potter playing the role of Kenji. Raini Rodriguez also stars as the voice of the spirited Sammy, with Sean Giambrone set to voice the timid and bookish Ben. Last but certainly not least, Kausar Mohammed plays world-class athlete Yaz, while Jameela Jamil and Glen Powell make their way into the fray as camp counselors.
Scott Kreamer (Pinky Malinky) and Lane Lueras (Kung Fu Panda: The Paws of Destiny) serve as showrunners and executive producers. The series is executive produced by Steven Spielberg, Frank Marshall, and Colin Trevorrow. Zack Stentz serves as a consulting producer.
