If there were such thing as the internet in the 80s, Roger Corman most likely would have made a movie that looks a lot like GIRLHOUSE, which combines an old school blood-and-tits sensibility with modern day technology. Think of it as SORORITY HOUSE MASSACRE with webcams. The film comes from JACK BROOKS: MONSTER SLAYER star and co-writer Trevor Matthews and, as we announced last week, it's being pushed at AFM by Lightning Entertainment. Hopefully a distribution deal is done so we can take a look at this throwback.
Described as A HALLOWEEN-style slasher for the digital age, GIRLHOUSE follows…
a beautiful young college student who, needing money for tuition, moves into a house that streams content to an X-rated website. After a deranged fan hacks in to determine the house's location, she finds herself in a terrifying fight for her life.
GIRLHOUSE stars Ali Cobrin, Slaine, Adam DiMarco, Alyson Bath, Elysia Rotaru and Alice Hunter. Watch the trailer and let us know what you think!
