40 years later, a sequel to S.F. Brownrigg’s 1973 cult classic DON’T LOOK IN THE BASEMENT as come to life thanks to his son, Anthony, who wrote and directed the film. I think it's safe to say that this one flew completely under the radar as it already has a trailer out and it looks pretty solid! The trailer delivers on some pretty gruesome imagery and a look at the continuation of the story now that it has been 40 years since shit hit the fan back in 1973. Watch the trailer below!
Written by Anthony Brownrigg and Megan Emerick, the film picks up..
…after the end of the first film, 40 years later. After Sam is moved to a new asylum in 2013, strange things begin happening there to the patients as well as the doctors. One doctor must find out what’s causing everyone go delve even deeper into insanity before it overcomes him as well.
Andrew Sensenig, Frank Mosley, Arianne Margot, Willie Minor, Jr, Camilla Carr, and Megan Emerick star. The film is expected to release sometime this Fall. We’ll keep you posted!
