It was almost a full year back when we first brought you news on the sci-fi thriller SHADOWS ON THE WALL, an intriguing-sounding indie project from director Ben Carland. At the time of our initial story on the film we only had a handful of stills and a synopsis for you to check out, but today we're hitting you with a trailer and word on how you can check this flick out next month as it begins its festival run.
SHADOWS ON THE WALL will be having its premiere at the Boston Sci-Fi Film Festival, an 11-day cinematic event held at the historic Somerville Theatre from February 6th to the 16th. The film is in good company, playing alongside the Gillian Anderson-starring ROBOT OVERLORDS, Jabbar Raisani's ALIEN OUTPOST, Paul Solet's DARK SUMMER, and the highly anticipated WYRMWOOD. You can check out SHADOWS ON THE WALL on Sunday February 8 at 7pm at the Boston Sci-Fi Film Festival.
Written and directed by Ben Carland, SHADOWS ON THE WALL revolves around a socially-awkward college student who builds a machine which allows for examination of space like never before. Unbeknownst to him, the machine also allows extraterrestrial life to communicate with Earth, a detail which concerns the government greatly. What ensues is a high-tension story about creativity, commitment, and belief in yourself in the face of terrifying consequences.
