No, you didn't just take a time machine into the early 90s – there really is a movie coming out starring Richard Grieco and Tawny Kitaen, and directed by schlockmaster Fred Olen Ray (HOLLYWOOD CHAINSAW HOOKERS, EVIL TOONS) no less! This is a movie only a late-night Cinemax watcher could love.
The flick is called AFTER MIDNIGHT and it looks exactly like what you'd expect it to. Here's the plot:
When an exotic dancer is murdered at a seedy strip club, her sister Constance (Kitaen, Bachelor Party, Witchboard), a TV newscaster, goes undercover to find the killer. While working at the club, she quickly realizes that everyone is a suspect and that other dancers are being targeted. She must work fast to find the killer to seek her revenge before she becomes the next target.
Yep, this is cheapo trash; if that's your thing, then dig in and enjoy. It will be released on VOD on October 28th.
