Last May, we caught word of a film called ENCLOSURE, directed by Patrick Rea and starring Fiona Dourif, Jake Busey, and Kevin Ryan. In the months since that report, ENCLOSURE has secured distribution from Gravitas Ventures and undergone a title change – it's now known as ARBOR DEMON… which sounds a bit goofy, but at least it's a more interesting title than ENCLOSURE.
Scripted by Rea and Michelle Davidson, ARBOR DEMON has the following synopsis:
A couple’s romantic camping trip is cut short after a group of nearby hunters are brutally killed by a mysterious creature. As the creature turns it’s focus on the couple, they must fight for their survival while their shelter is destroyed. Secrets and supernatural stories come to light, and they must determine if the real threat is inside or outside their enclosure.
Gravitas Ventures has scheduled ARBOR DEMON for a February 3rd VOD release in North America, and ahead of that date a trailer has been released online to build the hype. The trailer can be viewed below, and judging by its two and a half minutes ARBOR DEMON appears to be a cool little creature feature.
We'll find out for sure just how cool it is when the movie is released in a few weeks.
