Trailer arrives for Dark Roads 79, starring Bill Moseley

A trailer has made its way online for DARK ROADS 79, a horror thriller that's set in 1979 and tells of the story of

a southern rock band known as Dark Roads, whose time in the spotlight has come to an abrupt end. To find a new sound and regain their fame and fortune they head to a secluded cabin, until they discover that the front man of the band sold his soul for the fame and fortune and now the time has come to collect!

Directed by Chase Smith from a screenplay he wrote with Richard Krevolin, the film stars April Bogenschutz, David Flannery, Libby Blanton, Chance Kelley, Lance Paul, Austin Freeman, Jessica Sonneborn, Ramona Mallory, Jennifer Masty, Eddie George, Smith and Krevolin, and, as Caretaker Joseph Williams, genre icon Bill Moseley.

Moseley's Williams introduces himself as a Christian man, but that doesn't appear to stop him from acting like the type of character you usually expect to see Moseley play.

Production company Spirit World Productions is aiming to get DARK ROADS 79 out into the world on March 15, 2016.

The '79 setting doesn't really come through for me in the trailer, or maybe 2015 looks more like 1979 than I realize, but with Moseley, demons, and bloodshed, it seems like this one might be worth checking out.
