POKER NIGHT has had a long, hard road to completion. We first heard word on the film way back in 2005 when the serial killer flick was first in development. Fast forward seven years to 2012 and we finally heard that the film was heading into production under the direction of Greg Francis. Now, two years later, we have our first look at the trailer and key art for POKER NIGHT, which will finally see a release, scheduled to hit VOD and iTunes on December 5th and in theaters on December 19th.
The film stars Ron Perlman, Giancarlo Esposito, Beau Mirchoff, Titus Welliver, Michael Eklund, Ron Eldard, Corey Large and Halston Sage. Here's the synopsis:
In this twisted thriller, a young detective is caught in a sadistic game of cat-and-mouse when he is kidnapped and tormented by a masked serial killer. In order to survive, the rookie must use the wisdom imparted to him by senior detectives on their regular poker night.
