I’m surprised there hasn’t been a definitive movie about the underworld of sex trafficking made yet, but it looks like TRADE might be that film. The trailer recently premiered at Apple in wonderful Quicktime, and it stars a bunch of unknown Hispanic actors and Kevin Kline. It’s about a young Mexican girl who is kidnapped by a band of thugs so she can be sold in the sex trafficking industry, and her brother’s quest to rescue her. The bro eventually teams up with a Texan cop (Kline) who helps him in his quest. The movie was written by Jose Rivera, who wrote THE MOTORCYCLE DIARIES and is on board for the upcoming adaptation of ON THE ROAD, to be directed Walter Salles, who did DIARIES.
