Toy Story That Time Forgot is coming to ABC this Christmas

Did any of you catch TOY STORY OF TERROR when in played on ABC in October? I was lucky enough to check it out, and had a great time with it. My favorite thing about the special was the character Combat Carl voiced by Carl Weathers. Here’s hoping that we get to see him again in the future. If you are a fan of TOY STORY, I suggest you seek it out.

This December another special featuring Woody, Buzz, and the rest of the gang will premiere on ABC. TOY STORY THAT TIME FORGOT revolves around, ”a post-Christmas play date for the “Toy Story” gang when a group of action figures turns out to be “dangerously delusional.” A lot of the toys they run into turn out to be delusional.

Currently there are no other details but the voice cast including Tom Hanks as Woody, Tim Allen as Buzz, Kristen Schaal as Trixie, Wallace Shawn as Rex, Timothy Dalton as Mr. Pricklepants, Don Rickles as Mr. Potato Head and Joan Cusack as Jessie are returning. Kevin McKidd (BRAVE) is joining the ranks of the toys lending his vocals to a new character called Reptillus Maximus.

TOY STORY still stands out as one of my favorite animated franchises. I’d love to see them continue to do these specials, and maybe even get some of the other Pixar flicks involved.
