There's an intriguing indie horror comedy coming our way from director D.W. Thomas. Set in the L.A. comedy scene, the film is titled Too Late and stars Fred Armisen, Alyssa Limperis, Ron Lynch, Mary Lynn Rajskub, Will Weldon, Jenny Zigrino, Jack De Sena, and Brooks Wheelan.
Scripted by Tom Becker, Too Late tells the story of
a lonely assistant who finally finds love and must escape her monster of a boss before she and her new love become his next meal.
This is the inaugural film from Firemark Media, the production company founded by Thomas and Becker. Ryan Lacen and Anthony Baldino produced, with Lonnie Ramati executive producing.

Too Late is a macabre love letter to the L.A. alt comedy scene and, like our protagonist, Fred Armisen built his comedy career performing in underground comedy clubs like Largo with Ron Lynch, Aimee Mann, Marc Maron and the rest. Fred has such a unique voice and his shared history with the rest of the cast adds an authenticity to the story we’re telling. We are so thrilled!"
Lonnie Ramati is also serving as the sales agent for the film as it secures distribution deals. Hopefully we'll know more about the distribution plans soon, because I look forward to checking this out.
