We’re only a few weeks out from the newest SPIDER-MAN solo movie, and what we can expect is a spirited, energetic flick that brings the wall-crawling hero back to his high-school roots. But as the previews and one, let’s go with “unique”, poster have reminded us is that Robert Downey Jr.’s Tony Stark/Iron Man will be very present for the festivities. You could say he’s like a father figure to the young whipper-snapper (Tom Holland), and this new featurette for the movie highlights that mentorship.

And what’s high school without some detention, especially without a pep talk from Captain America himself (Chris Evans)?
I love me some Spider-Man, and I think what will be refreshing about HOMECOMING is that with it there doesn’t come a lot of expectation. Oh, don’t get me wrong, this SPIDER-MAN movie needs to be more than amazing given where the last solo outing (AMAZING SPIDER-MAN 2) left audiences. Yeah, the character has a lot of ground to cover on the redeeming front. What I mean is unlike a lot of other MCU movies I feel like HOMECOMING will give people something they can just kick back and have a good time with, not having to worry about extraterrestrial crises or Infinity Stones. The only problems Peter Parker has to worry about here is – gulp – finding a date the prom!
