Tommy Wiseau has become a movie legend all his own with his so-incredibly-bad-it’s-amazingly-great movie, THE ROOM. The movie has since spawned a genuinely amazing biopic, THE DISASTER ARTIST, with James Franco playing the long-haired Wiseau, who may be a vampire (we’ll see). The big screen return for Wiseau has been a long-time coming, and now he and his best bud and ROOM co-star Greg Sestero are back in the brand-new movie BEST F(R)IENDS. The new trailer for the movie (written and produced by Sestero) is here and filled with all kinds of strange, including campy vibes and plenty of Wiseau’s jet-black locks and attempts at English.
Here is the plot synopsis:
When a drifter (Sestero) is taken in by a peculiar mortician (Wiseau), the two hatch an underground enterprise off the back of the mortician's old habits. Greed, hatred, and jealousy soon come in turn, and their efforts unravel, causing the drifter to run off with the spoils and leaving the mortician adrift. An expedition across the Southwest introduces wild and crazy characters through a series of twisted and dark fables as both men learn a valuable lesson about friendship and loyalty.
Presented in two epic volumes, part one hits theaters March 2018, and part two is set for June 2018.
