Tombstone is offering people named Jason, Crystal, or Pamela the chance to win free pizza

The Tombstone frozen pizza brand is offering people named Jason, Crystal, or Pamela the chance to win free pizza and a weekend trip

Last October, the Tombstone frozen pizza brand offered anyone who lived on an Elm Street the chance to win free pizza. This year, they’re celebrating the Halloween season with another free pizza giveaway – but instead of A Nightmare on Elm Street, it’s the Friday the 13th franchise that has inspired their new giveaway. Tombstone has announced that they’re giving anyone who shares their first name with Jason Voorhees, his home turf of Crystal Lake, or his mother Pamela the chance to win one free pizza and “a spooky weekend trip”!

A press release notes that fans of horror and pizza can participate at your own risk by entering online at tombstone.com/pizzaforjason. Through October 31, those named Jason can enter for a chance to win. Despite its frightful associations, Jason has been consistently popular for decades with more than 900,000 individuals going by the name.

The horror film genre is a top watch for pizza lovers and Halloween fans alike. In fact, 71 percent of Americans under the age of 35 enjoy scary movies and nearly 62 precent of Gen Z plan to watch scary movies to celebrate Halloween.

Fear not, if your name is Crystal or Pamela, you’re also eligible for chance to win and enjoy the full-on flavor experience of TOMBSTONE® Pizza, featuring real cheese, classic meat combos, zesty sauce and its signature buttery crust.

Neil Morrissey, Marketing Brand Manager at Nestlé, provided the following statement: “Watching scary movies and eating pizza continues to be one of the best Halloween traditions. This year, we’re having some fun with the fright factor, and encouraging everyone to spend Halloween watching classic horror movies.

No information on the “spooky weekend trip” was revealed, so I guess the winner will be finding out that trip’s destination when they find out they’re the winner.

Is your name Jason, Crystal, or Pamela, and will you be entering Tombstone’s giveaway to win a free pizza and a weekend trip? Let us know by leaving a comment below.

I used to know a guy who really was named Jason Voorhees (he was born years before Friday the 13th was released) – but unfortunately, Jason was his middle name, so I’m not sure he would be eligible to enter this giveaway.
