Tom Green’s Monsters: Dark Continent gets a release date

We’ve known since January that MONSTERS: DARK CONTINENT, the sequel to Gareth Edwards’ indie hit, was slated for a release sometime in April, we just didn’t know the exact date. Well, now we do. The Tom Green-directed sequel will be headed our way on April 17th, a fine day for a creature feature! Dig on the trailer below if you missed it!

Here’s what you need to know:

Ten years on from the events of Monsters, and the Infected Zones have spread worldwide. Two soldiers embark on a life-altering mission through the dark heart of monster territory in the deserts of the Middle East. By the time they reach their goal, they will have been forced to confront the fear that the true monsters on the planet may not be alien after all.
