All right, all right, let's not get too crazy here. I know we're all weary of this whole teaser for a trailer thing, but they're obviously here to stay and, if nothing else, they just serve as a confirmation that we WILL have a new trailer. That may be a thin rationale, but there it is. Now that we're over that, let's take a look at what we're discussing; EDGE OF TOMORROW. The 2nd full trailer will hit tomorrow for the Tom Cruise sci-fi actioner, which is directed by Doug Liman (MR. AND MRS. SMITH) and co-stars the stunning Emily Blunt, Bill Paxton, and Jeremy Piven. The first trailer originally debuted at Comic Con last year and then later to everyone else and it's been a little bit since we've heard anything. Now, we've got cause to get excited again…
"You do know what's happening to me":
Tom Cruise continues to deliver top notch films. Even as he's shifted from dramatic actor to action star, he's maintained a tremendous screen presence and is one of the most consistent actors working in Hollywood today. While not every new flick he puts out is as good as the last, he still continues to push forward, working with some of the best and brightest in the industry, which has always been his strong suit. In a summer of superheroes, giant lizards, transforming robots, buddy comedies, and damn, dirty apes, I'm happy we've got at least one big budget sci-fi romp on deck.
EDGE OF TOMORROW opens on June 6, 2014.
