Tom Cruise feels the need for speed on the set of Doug Liman’s All You Need Is Kill

Tom Cruise hasn’t lost the need for speed since he jumped in an F-14 Tomcat and buzzed the tower of Hollywood and is continuing that trend with his latest pic, the currently-filming ALL YOU NEED IS KILL.  Directed by Doug Liman and based on the novel by Hiroshi Sakurazaka, Cruise plays Lt. Col. Bill Cage, a “soldier fighting in a war with aliens finds himself caught in a time loop of his last day in the battle, though he becomes better skilled along the way.”  Joining him is Emily Blunt as Rita Vrataski a.k.a. Full Metal Bitch, as another Soldier fighting alongside Cruise’s Cage.

Today, we have some set pics from the film, currently lensing in London, with Cruise…,well, cruising.  The actor has made it known that he prefers to do his own stunts and proves it time and again (check out the behind the scenes on the MISSION IMPOSSIBLE: GHOST PROTOCOL disc.  Amazing shit.) with ALL YOU NEED IS KILL looking to be another notch on his adrenaline belt.  In addition, I’ve included some set pics of Blunt.  The pics are a bit older, but I don’t recall us posting them before.  If they’re new to you, then it’ll be your first look at Blunt all geared up and ready to throw down.

As is usually the case for Cruise film, I’m stoked to see this.  I loved Doug Liman‘s action direction on MR. AND MRS. SMITH and I’m a big fan of all things Emily Blunt.  Also, this:
