Tom Cruise gives his 2020 Presidential concession speech in parody video

Last Updated on July 30, 2021

We're all aware that 2020 turned into a supreme shit-show of the highest order, but if you will, try to remember back to that glorious year of 2019. The year saw the release of Avengers: Endgame, Joker, Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, Toy Story 4, and more, but it also saw Tom Cruise announcing his intention to run for President of the United States in 2020. Of course, it wasn't exactly Tom Cruise making the declaration, but rather notable Cruise impersonator Miles Fisher taking on the role in the slickly produced parody video.

"I'm not just your every-man, I've literally been every man," Cruise said while explaining why he should win your vote, citing experiences from his lengthy filmography which has found him starting small businesses, fighting alongside the samurai, and defending the world from alien invasion three times. Well, 2020 didn't exactly go as planned and Tom Cruise has released a concession speech for his Presidential campaign, which you can check out above. "I live for stunts, especially the kind that people say might kill me," Cruise says in the video. "Hanging off the side of planes, launching into outer space, refusing to age a day past 37, I never back down, but to refuse the results of this election, the will of the people, that is a stunt I will never take part in." I won't spoil anything, but you'll probably want to stick around to the end.
