Tom Atkins may star in Creepshow season 2

It was just last week that we passed along word that MY BLOODY VALENTINE and HALLOWEEN III: SEASON OF THE WITCH star Tom Atkins wants to have a cameo in Blumhouse and director David Gordon Green's two new HALLOWEEN movies, HALLOWEEN KILLS and HALLOWEEN ENDS. And today we're hearing that he plans to be a part of Shudder's CREEPSHOW season 2…. if it happens.

Atkins says:

[Showrunner] Greg Nicotero gave me a shout out and said, 'We're going to do this, and I'll have you down for a role.' And I didn't get into the first one, but maybe next year. Maybe next season.

Now, I don't know about you but seeing Atkins return to the CREEPSHOW franchise sounds like fanboy music to my ears. Let's just hope they manage to snag Joe Hill again for an updated tale based on their original wraparound entry in the first flick. That would be f*cking killer, right?

The six-episode first season is all set to star Adrienne Barbeau, Giancarlo Esposito, Tobin Bell, Tricia Helfer, Dana Gould, David Arquette, Jeffrey Combs, Kid Cudi, Big Boi, Bruce Davison, and DJ Qualls. You can check out the full list of stories set to be told in the first season right over HERE.

Shudder's Creepshow is produced by the Cartel with Monster Agency Productions, Taurus Entertainment, and Striker Entertainment. Stan Spry, Jeff Holland, and Eric Woods are executive producers for the Cartel; Greg Nicotero and Brian Witten are executive producers for Monster Agency Productions; Robert Dudelson, James Dudelson, and Jordan Kizwani are executive producers for Taurus Entertainment; Russell Binder is executive producer and Marc Mostman co-executive producer for Striker Entertainment. It will premiere on Shudder on September 26, 2019.
