April 15th marks the 110th anniversary of the sinking of the Titanic, and it also happens to be the release date for the horror film Titanic 666, starring AnnaLynne McCord (Excision). Directed by Nick Lyon from a script written by Jacob Cooney and Jason White, Titanic 666 will tell the following story:
One hundred and ten years after its namesake’s fateful journey, the Titanic III’s maiden voyage will land at the original site of the wreck. Although a faithful replica of the original, this mammoth cruise ship is built with the most advanced technology, ensuring that it has no chance of sinking. But when the Titanic III arrives at the tragic site, strange events begin to occur, as dark forces from the deep rise to the surface, terrorizing all aboard and threatening to repeat one of history’s greatest disasters.
McCord plays Mia Stone, a social media influencer and passenger traveling with her husband. She is joined in the cast by Keesha Sharp (Power Book II: Ghost) as Captain Celeste Rhoades, Captain of the Titanic III leading the ship over the site of the original Titanic disaster; Lydia Hearst (Z Nation) as Idina, a stowaway seeking to avenge the exploitation of the original Titanic victims; and Jamie Bamber (Battlestar Galactica) as Professor Hal Cochran, a passenger on the ship and an artifact collector of the original Titanic ship. Joseph Gatt (Star Trek Into Darkness), Derek Yates (CSI: Vegas), Michael J. Chen (Leaked), Jhey Castles (San Andreas Quake), Kendall Chappell (Witch Hunt), and Giovannie Espiritu (D-Railed) are also in the cast.
Titanic 666 was produced for Tubi by The Asylum‘s David Michael Latt. Paul Bales is co-producer for The Asylum, and David Rimawi serves as executive producer.
