Director S.K. Dale's thriller Till Death is scheduled to receive a theatrical and On Demand release on July 2nd, and a trailer has arrived online to give a preview of what Dale has in store for us with this one. Check it out in the embed above!
Till Death stars Megan Fox asĀ
Emma, who is left handcuffed to her dead husband as part of a sickening revenge plot. She must survive two hired killers on their way to finish the job.
If you want a bit more information on the set-up, here's another synopsis:
Emma, who is stuck in a stale marriage to Mark and is surprised when he whisks her away to their secluded lake house for a romantic evening on their 10th anniversary. But everything soon changes, and Emma finds herself trapped and isolated in the dead of winter, the target of a plan that gets more sinister at every turn.
Eoin Macken, Aml Ameen, Callan Mulvey, and Jack Roth are also in the cast.
Dale made his feature directorial debut with this film, working from a screenplay by Jason Carvey that caught the attention of the producers at Millennium Media when it was featured on the Blood List, which draws attention to the best unproduced genre scripts that are being passed around.
Till Death looks interesting to me. The "handcuffed to dead husband's corpse" element is like Gerald's Game mixed with the Tales from the Crypt episode Carrion Death, but while that part of the story has been the main focus while we wait for this movie, the trailer shows that Megan Fox is still going to have plenty to do after she gets free of those cuffs. Thrillers like this are usually a good way to spend 90 minutes or so, and I hope that will be the case with this one. I'll definitely be checking it out in July.
