The Disney+ has a cool new addition for youngsters who want to get into the horror genre: a mystery horror series called Tierra Incognita, all eight episodes of which are now available to watch on the streaming service. The show is an Argentine production, but as you can see in the trailer embedded above, there is an English dub option. So kids can have the same experience watching Tierra Incognita as I did watching dubbed Godzilla movies during my childhood.

Created by Tomás Wortley, Tierra Incognita has the following synopsis:

Eight years ago, Eric Dalaras’ parents mysteriously disappeared without a trace. The teenager is determined to solve his parents’ disappearance and enters a scary world. After their parents disappear, Eric and his sister Uma grow up with their maternal grandparents. Eric decides to leave there to search for answers in the town of Cabo Qwert, where he lived as a child. For there is also the abandoned amusement park Tierra Incógnita, where his parents were last stratified. With the help of his friends, his sister and his aunt, Eric must overcome his fears to solve the riddle that leads to the answer to the question that most concerns him. But the truth lies hidden in a cosmos as dark as it is unexplored.

The show stars Pedro Maurizi, Mora Fisz, Tomás Kirzner, Carla Pandolfi, Verónica Intile, Ezequiel Rodríguez, Osmar Núñez, Silvia Kutika, Thomas Lepera, Azucena Zhou, Lautaro Delgado Tymruk, Valentina González, Fernando Malfitano, Joaquín Ochoa, Martín Armendáriz, and Sebastián Sinnot.

For a horror show aimed at young viewers, Tierra Incognita actually looks quite promising. Will you be watching this show – or, if you have kids, will you be letting them watching this show on Disney Plus? Share your thoughts on this one by leaving a comment below.
